Carnage is the iconic super-villain from Marvel Comics who went head to head with Spiderman on multiple occasions. The villain is the offspring of the Venom Symbiote.
The Symbiotes were a race of alien beings that needed to attach themselves to other living organisms in order to survive, and in doing so they would gain some of the characteristics of that being.
Venom was created when a Symbiote bonded with Spiderman, but it nearly drove him insane, so he forced it to separate from him, and it found another host. Eventually, Venom spawned Carnage, who had many of the same abilities, but was much more powerful.
The image of Carnage is one that most fans of classic and modern comics alike will recognize, and he represents strength, unpredictability, and literal carnage. As one of Spiderman’s most famous adversaries, it should come as no surprise that fans of his would want to sport his image as a tattoo.
There are a number of creative ways to showcase a tattoo of Carnage, and the symbiotic nature of the creature creates another layer of connection between the tattoo and its bearer. It’s hard to deny the raw power and emotion that stem from Carnage, and tattoo fans can easily translate those into an amazing piece of art.
