Men’s Beckett Simonon Doweler Cap Toe Boots Review
To be honest, for the price I was not expecting a boot this attractive to arrive at my doorstep. In reality, Beckett Simonon delivered tremendously on the fashionable look while also delivering a quality construction to match.
Now, I’ve owned countless leather men’s dress boots in the past, all ranging from dirt cheap to outrageously expensive. At around two hundred dollars, the Beckett Simonon Doweler Cap Toe boot is exceptionally well priced for what you get. Do I think you get the right amount of boot for every dollar spent? Absolutely.
While the boots own their own exceeded my expectations, the dust covers, spare insoles and laces, etc where really nice touches. I can’t tell you how much I hate having pricey leather boots arrived all dinged up from shifting around in the shoe box. Thankfully, Beckett Simonon, being the fine folks that they are, decided to ship the Doweler cap-toe with an appreciation for the fine work that goes into making each one.
In addition to the Bordeaux finish, Beckett Simonon also offers their boots in black and tan variations. Of course, if you like the finer details of a brogue boot, they have those too. Boots aside, they also make everything from oxfords to monk-straps, sneakers, belts, weekender bags and beyond.
