Combine premium oil nubuck leather with an ECCO HYDROMAX water-repellent technology, and you’ve got one of the best hiking boots out there.
With contrasting dark brown and white laces, these men’s ECCO Track 25 Hydromax boots look great both on and off the trail.
Regardless if you opt for the amber or coffee options, both arrive with numerous features I’ve come to really enjoy. For starters, there’s ECCO’s unique FLUIDFORM direct injection process which uses fluid materials to make these boots feel like you’re walking on a bunch of clouds.
Best of all, while these men’s hiking boots look ruggedly rock solid, they don’t have all that extra, unwanted weight. Instead, ECCO has managed to really impress me with their top-notch construction while still retaining the lightweight and flexible features I personally want in a hiking boot.

Brown Men’s Bogs Foundation Mid Leather Composite Toe Boots Review
Speaking of construction, the metallic D-rings are heavy duty, while the nose spoiler for preventing scuffs is a nice touch.
Inside you’ll find a vegetable tanned leather insole alongside a super comfortable and soft lining. Should you wish to remove it for extra width, ECCO has made it possible. Though, for myself personally, the inlay sole is incredibly comfortable on the feet.
On the exterior, double stitching can be found throughout the Track 25 Hydromax for durability, while a nice reinforced pull handle on the rear makes taking these boots on and off a breeze.
When it comes to the outsole, the patterned lugs offer a crazy amount of grip and traction regardless of the surface you’re standing on or stomping through. As someone who really doesn’t enjoy a flimsy boot, I have to say, it’s truly a pleasure to have so much foot control and confidence.
Overall, these men’s hiking boots take the idea of quality and durability to another level. With water-repellent coated oil nubuck leather, a lightweight feel with an extreme attention to construction detail, it really doesn’t get any better than the Track 25 Hydromax.
