Aston Martin Unveils Three New Cars for the Vantage Legacy Collection
Not one, not two, but three new cars have just been unveiled by British automobile icon Aston Martin. Celebrating its most successful period in racing history, the world-renowned luxury sports car brand raises a glass to the Aston Martin Vantage.
Between 2009 and 2018, nothing could touch the Aston Martin Vantage. Bringing home two 24 Hours of Le Mans class victories in 2014 and 2017, alongside seven FIA World Endurance Championship titles and numerous international sportscar championship titles in British GT, GT World Challenge (Europe), and the European Le Mans Series, it’s safe to say the Pom’s had a real winner on their hands.
Not just popular with a particular MI6 007 agent, the Aston Martin Vantage has been a favorite on the track and in the garage. A few years on since the victories and Aston Martin continues its success and popularity with this trio of Legacy Vantages based on the V8 Vantage road car first launched in 2005.
Created inside the Aston Martin Racing workshop, this trio of vehicles is being offered as a collection, meaning you can snatch up all three if you wanted. This includes a V8 Vantage GTE, a V12 Vantage GT3, and Vantage GT4, each featuring a brand new chassis and identical livery in sterling green.
Matched with the distinctive and classic Aston Martin yellow trim lines around the radiator and cant rail, the Vantage Legacy Collection is totally ready to race. In a statement from the President of Aston Martin Racing, David King said, “For a collector, this trio of Aston Martin Racing Vantages represents the ultimate tribute to a halcyon period for the brand in international sportscar racing.
While Aston Martin has since gone on to record world championship titles with the current generation turbo-charged V8 Vantage, the foundations laid by the huge success of the original car won it admirers the around the globe and led to it becoming a firm favourite with racing fans. The Legacy collection is a beautiful sign-off for this wonderful car.”
