BMW M 1000 RR Model Unveiled by Lego As Limited-Edition
LEGO’s 1:5 scale BMW 1000 RR motorcycle debuted as part of its Technic™ collection that also features Buggati Chiron, Ducati Panigale V4 R, and the new Batmobile.
The kit will include all the necessary components to construct the model scale of the bike. One will find among the parts a gold chain transmission, four-piston engine, three-speed gearbox, steering, and front and rear suspension. There are also exhibition and racing stands included.
As for the exterior, a red, white, and blue color scheme mark the piece. Glossy black directional rims and M-sport brake calipers, meanwhile, steal the show. When completed, the model is 27 cm (10 in) high and 45 cm (17 in) long. The width is 17 cm (6 in). It is built from 1,920 pieces.
LEGO® Technic™ is said by the brand to take things “to a whole new level” with gearboxes, wheels, and axels that really work. The set isn’t built for collectors, though they will certainly turn up for this opportunity. Instead, the aim is to teach the youth about mechanics and machinery. LEGO® Technic™ the BMW M 1000 RR model version (42130) will do just that.
Rumor has it that fans should keep an eye out for a lifesize build as other Technic models have witnessed in the past. The set will be ready for purchase on the first of January 2022. It will retail for $230 USD.
