Watch the Explosive Trailer for ‘Mayans MC’ Season 3
The third season of Mayans MC is shaping up as another killer offering from Kurt Sutter and co. Focusing on the Santo Padre Charter of the Mayans motorcycle club, this two-minute preview hints at the bloodshed and violence set to rock the club. EZ Reyes (J.D. Pardo), now a fully patched member of the club, continues to try and keep his family safe while older brother Angel Reyes (Clayton Cardenas) begins to go off the rails.
Set in the same universe as Sons Of Anarchy, this wildly popular motorcycle drama returns after a 16-month hiatus. The 10 episode offering from FX picks up right where season two ended and promises plenty of drama. The official synopsis reads:
“After U.S. Assistant District Attorney Lincoln Potter threatens to deport Felipe, EZ and Angel chose to leverage incriminating information to protect him rather than to free rebel leader Adelita from federal custody, leaving her to give birth to Angel’s son while in handcuffs. Meanwhile, Miguel Galindo is left reeling over the loss of his mother to apparent suicide, while others quietly suspect foul play. Additionally, the Mayans seek vengeance on their rivals, the Tijuana M.C. Vatos Malditos, after a surprise attack on their club. When the smoke clears, they discover the body of a Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club Redwood Original – there will be hell to pay.”

As a fan of both SOA and Mayans MC, I’m pretty excited about the season ahead. It seems like both the Reyes brothers will be facing their own demons, while the likes of cartel advisor Marcus Alvarez (Emilio Rivera) and Mayans member Johnny “El Coco” Cruz (Richard Cabral) look to have their hands full.
Mayans MC season three premiers March 16 on Hulu.
