The invention of social media has meant people can vent their two cents on their favorite platform about anything they want.

But the real protesting comes in the streets when people join together as one and show solidarity on an issue. As we have seen over the past few years, events like the Black Lives Matter protests, sparked by the death of George Floyd, and the Roe v Wade protests have seen people turn out in their thousands to show their support for these causes. As well as marching together, many bring signs, which often results in some of the funniest, most witty, and eye-catching protest signs. 

Protesting is a series business, but protestors can use their signs to show they have some personality. Humor is often a good way to get a message across, especially when it comes to issues people might not understand. Homosexuality and gay rights are big issues these days. For some reason, there are people out there who don’t think it’s right for people of the same sex to love each other. Not only is this a stupid take, but whatever other people do or the way they choose to live their life shouldn’t concern anyone else. 

There are often protests staged when it comes to gay rights and things like same-sex marriage, but few protest signs are as hilarious as this one. This image shows a group of people (most likely religious) with a banner that reads “Homosexuality is a sin! Return to Jesus.” Standing in front of the banner is a man dressed as Jesus holding a sign that reads “I’m Cool With It.” The sign also happens to be in the colors of the LGBTQ flag. Nice work.
