Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel List Hollywood Hills Compound for $35 Million
Justin Timberlake and his wife Jessica Biel are looking to cash in on their luxurious Hollywood Hills mansion. First purchased by Timberlake almost 20 years ago when he was still a member of boy group *NSYNC, The Wall Street Journal has reported the couple is hoping to get $35 million for the secluded property. That’s a whopping $26.7 million more than the Cry Me a River singer forked out! Inflation, hey?
Built in the 1940s by Hollywood playboy Erroll Flynn, the home has a rich history, having been later owned by singing cowboy Stuart Hamblen and singer/songwriter/actor Ricky Nelson. The mansion was then demolished in the 80s by a real estate developer who divided the property into separate blocks.
One of these parcels of land, consisting of a three-acre lot, was purchased by Mad About You actress Helen Hunt. She erected a Spanish-style villa and then sold it on to Timberlake. He managed to get his hands on a vacant seven-acre lot behind the home to provide more of a backyard and then spent millions on renovating the place, bringing in LA designer Estee Stanley to help with the interiors. Timberlake also whacked in a massive 85-foot zero-edge pool with a separate plunge pool.
Like many properties in the Hollywood Hills, Timberlake and Biel’s mansion is located behind a guarded security fence. It includes huge outdoor alfresco areas for entertaining, a guesthouse, the previously mentioned 85-foot zero-edge pool, a tennis court, and large lawn and wooded areas.
Covering 13,500 square feet across two levels, the palatial property has nine bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. Other highlights include a gourmet kitchen, a home theater, four fireplaces, and a gym. The master bedroom also comes with an expansive dressing room and luxurious bathroom.
