Kross Studio Releases $100K ‘Space Jam’ Tourbillon
Earlier this year Kross Studio had Star Wars fans excited with the release of the Death Star Tourbillon. Now the Swiss watchmaker has released another movie-inspired timepiece, this time in honor of the forthcoming Space Jam: A New Legacy.
Developed in conjunction with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, the Space Jam: A New Legacy Tourbillon “embodies the precision and sporty style of the basketball world.” The sophisticated watch houses a 3 Hz KS 7,000 caliber hand-wound movement inside a 45 mm titanium case.

Delivering a five-day power reserve, the Looney Tunes influenced watch has a central tourbillon cage, a peripheral hour hand shaped like a free throw lane coated with white blue emission SuperLuminova. Each member of the “Dream Team” (Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety, Sylvester, Marvin the Martian, Yosemite Sam, Granny, Taz, Speedy Gonzales, Elmer Fudd, Wile E. Coyote, and Road Runner) is etched into the fixed hour wheel. This limited-edition timepiece also comes with interchangeable deep blue calfskin leather and orange laser abraded rubber straps.
The watch comes with a kinetic sculpture that resembles a basketball. Known as the Kross Studio B-BALL, this eye-catching design is made from wood and aluminum and consists of 11 layers that open to reveal the watch. The Looney Tunes characters are also engraved onto the base of the stand.
The Space Jam: A New Legacy Tourbillon is limited to just 10 pieces and retails for $100,000.
