Dress Like James Bond With This Suit From Mason & Sons
While most of us can only dream of living the spy life of James Bond, you can at least dress the part thanks to Mason & Sons. Dedicate to British style, the much-loved company has replicated the iconic three-piece ensemble Sean Connery wore in classic Bond flick Goldfinger.
Known as the Conduit Cut, this bespoke creation was developed by Anthony Sinclair in the late 50s at his tailoring business on Conduit Street in Mayfair. Connery, always known as a man with class, loved the cut of the suit so much he refused to wear any other suit other than Sinclair while playing Bond.
The Conduit Cut fast became a staple of London gents and one of the most recognized suist styles in the world. “The natural shoulder, roped sleeve head, a degree of chest drape, suppressed waist, and slightly flared skirt create a subtle hourglass silhouette which traces the body with a peerless purity of line,” explains Mason & Sons.
The sophisticated grey number is cut from 100% Super 120’s wool from Holland & Sherry. The made-to-order suite includes a single-breast jacket with two buttons, pleated trousers, and a five-button waistcoat.
The most surprising thing is the price, with the Anthony Sinclair Three-Piece Glen Plaid Goldfinger Suit retailing for only $2,050. Not bad for an authentic tailored suit suitable for any occasion.
