Nike Celebrates Giannis’ Championship Win With the Immortality ‘Championship’ Sneaker
It’s been a big year for Giannis Antetokounmpo. Not only did the Greek Freak win his first NBA Championship with the Milwaukee Bucks, but the 26-year-old also took out the Finals MVP award. To commemorate his victory, Nike is releasing a special edition of the Giannis Immortality sneaker, known as the “Championship.”
The global behemoth has reimagined the Nike Giannis Immortality in a colorway befitting of an NBA Champion. The white and black color scheme incorporates gold accents around the laces and a golden Swoosh on each kick. Antetokounmpo’s number 34 is visible on the toe of the show and is written on the tongue.
The shoe has a very regal feel to it and is sure to be a big seller amongst Bucks fans. What’s better is the price, with the Nike Giannis Immortality “Championship” set to retail for a very affordable $80.
The shoe will be available later this year via Nike stores the world over.
