Welcome to the second part of the 2019 SHOT Show coverage. For more of the latest and greatest in firearms, tactical gear, and beyond merely scroll on down.
From belt-fed military machine guns to rifles with mounted grenade launchers, FN’s booth at SHOT didn’t disappoint.
Among the incredible arsenal of weaponry was their new SCAR 20 rifle, a commercial version with specs similar to the FN MK20 SSR.
While strolling through the show floor, I came across a rather unique compact four-barrel handgun. Along with it were vintage schematics and a photograph of gentlemen in front of the O.F. Mossberg & Sons building.
Of course, those are just a few of the many incredible things I discovered this year at SHOT show. A look below will reveal so much more!
Shot Show 2019 Part Two
Across the entire floor, I kept finding one thing that was somewhat common: Gallow Tech’s wall racks. Numerous exhibitors were taking advantage of the incredible set up to show off their own firearms and gear.
When I had a chance, I stopped by the Gallow Tech booth to see what’s new and their new in-the-wall steel locker safe immediately caught my eye. The new wall locker safe featured the same extra beefy construction found in their weapon cabinets. Though, unlike the cabinets, each wall safe featured a number pin pad in addition to the traditional key lock.
With countless hanger options from the suppressor shelf to helmet, rifle, pistol, etc. hangers. Gallow Tech always manages to leave me impressed every single time I swing by their booth!
If you have a hunting dog or need a dog-proof kennel, Gunner Kennels is the answer.
Their enclosures were incredibly well-built and featured durable details throughout. And while the kennels left me impressed, the number of accessories and attachments really left me in awe!
Hill People Gear’s booth featured some really sharp outdoor jackets and packs. Most notably, their chest pack drew me instantly into their booth. For when I’m spending time out in the wild and can’t easily access my sidearm, the chest mounted option is golden!
After speaking with the team, I later discovered that they had all sorts of chest packs in various sizes, colors, etc. In addition to their packs, they also made clothing, which was exceptionally rugged.
Another trend I picked up from the show was hydro dipped, wood-look furniture on everything from ARs to AKs.
While I’m not personally a fan of using wood on popular modern day firearms, the hydro dipped stocks, grips and rails still looked beautifully well-done.
Infante’s ultrasonic gun cleaning machines were ridiculously well-built and featured all the bells and whistles you could ever want. Best of all, they make their own cleaning solutions too, all of which is non-toxic.
While they offered smaller sizes of their ultrasonic cleaners, I was surprised to see a hefty double rifle machine on display. Of course, even though it was massive, it wasn’t even the largest version in their collection. The Infante team also works with industry part manufactures and has created ultrasonic machines the sizes of cars and beyond.
