Tom Scalisi spent over 15 years learning the ins and outs of construction, remodeling, DIY, and home renovation. He has also curated quite an impressive collection of tools.
Tom joined Next Luxury in February of 2020, following his passion building and creating. With a knack for communication, he writes and edits articles for Next Luxury’s home design content. Never one to shy from stopping along the way to discuss the finer points of a material or technique, he enjoys creating content with a conversational tone that the reader can engage with.
With a thirst for knowledge imbued in him by his grandmother at an early age, Tom is forever learning. When he writes, he tries to emulate his favorite authors like Ernest Hemingway, Jack London, Larry Haun, JRR Tolkien, and Mark Twain.
A lover of all things quintessentially and unapologetically manly, Tom loves cars, racing, baseball, the outdoors, and especially great watches. Above all, his wife and children come first, along with their three dogs (and the cat, too).
