16 of the Most Beautiful Brunette Actresses in Hollywood
When it comes to brunette actresses, there are hundreds in Hollywood. These women are talented actresses doing great work and inspiring the next generation of actresses. These beautiful women may have first gotten noticed thanks to their looks, but they are proving there is more than outside beauty.
While blondes and redheads stand out, brunettes are more than capable of making a splash in the entertainment pond. Some of the greatest actresses are brunettes and continue to put in the hard work to be recognized for their acting skills rather than their looks.
We want to celebrate these women and what they have done for others during their careers so we’ve compiled a list of our favorite brunette actresses. We’ve highlighted some of the early greats, such as Audrey Hepburn, to contemporary favorites like Jennifer Aniston and Gal Gadot.
1. Anne Hathaway
One of the highest-paid actresses in the world is also a beautiful brunette. Anne Hathaway has been on our screens for over two decades, with the American actress having won a Primetime Emmy Award for her voice role on an episode of The Simpsons as well as an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, a Screen Actors Guild, and a BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actress for Les Misérables.
Awards aside, Hathaway has a stacked filmography that entails films from all different genres. She is never afraid to try something different or take on roles many others wouldn’t. Since the show ended she has crossed over into movies and mixed success, with movies such as The Break-Up, Marley & Me, Office Space, and Good Girl some of her stand-out features.
Aniston’s love life has also been a focus throughout her career, especially when she married heartthrob Brad Pitt. While the relationship didn’t last, the two remain friends, with Aniston still a favorite amongst moviegoers.
4. Dove Cameron
Getting her breakthrough on the Disney series Liv and Maddie, it didn’t take long for Dove Cameron to crossover into the world of movies. While she hasn’t exactly picked the best films (her credits include The Angry Birds 2 Movie and Barely Lethal), she does have a couple of upcoming flicks that could boost her profile.
Her TV work includes appearances on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Schmigadoon!, and the Descendants series of television movies. Cameron has also starred in several plays and off-Broadway shows and appeared on several movie soundtracks. She has a bright future ahead of her.

Who doesn’t love Emily Blunt? The English actress is always charming and funny in interviews and never fails to disappoint on the big screen. Getting noticed after small roles in The Devil Wears Prada and The Jane Austen Book Club, it was her portrayal of Queen Victoria in The Young Victoria that really got people talking.
Blunt has gone on to star in a wide range of movies, including sci-fi action flick Edge of Tomorrow, cartel thriller Sicario, and big budget horrors A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place Part II. The mother of two is married to John Krasinski and counts Stanley Tucci as her brother-in-law.

9. Olivia Wilde
Breaking out as a bi-sexual bar owner on The O.C., Olivia Wilde has been in the news for all the wrong reasons of late. After taking up directing, her new film Don’t Worry Darling has already got people talking for the wrong reasons.
There’s the fact it stars Harry Styles, who she is said to have had an affair with while married to Jason Sudeikis and who is now her boyfriend. Then there are rumors she and the film’s other lead Florence Pugh don’t get on due to Pugh not liking her romance with Styles. To top it all off, Wilde said original lead Shai LaBeouf was fired, but that seems to be untrue.
Whatever is going on, it’s not a great look for Wilde, who has built an impressive career as an actor and director. If she can rise above it all she will continue to be a star and get the recognition she deserves.
10. Angelina Jolie
At various moments throughout her time in the spotlight, Angelina Jolie has been named one of the most beautiful women in the world. Her brown hair, chiseled features, and curvy body have seen her on the cover of all the big men’s magazines. But there is a lot more to Jon Voight’s daughter than her looks.
She is a very talented actress who has won many awards (including an Oscar and three Emmys) and is known for her humanitarian efforts. Jolie has supported many charities and causes and often visits wartorn countries to help out. She has six children, three of which were adopted, and spends much of her free time with them.
Although she has slowed down when it comes to her on-screen roles (she was last seen in 2001s Eternals), there is no doubting Jolie is an exceptional actress with plenty more to give.
11. Mindy Kaling
There is more to Mindy Kaling than The Office. While the show did help the brunette actress get noticed, she has done a lot more since. She’s had her own show, The Mindy Project, that ran for six seasons, and helped create and develop the TV series Never Have I Ever and The Sex Lives of College Girls.
As well as her writing credits, Kaling has directed several episodes of the shows she’s helped create, along with several episodes of The Office. While she occasionally acts (her last role was in the 2021 movie Locked Down), Kaling prefers writing, with her next project involving writing the script for Legally Blonde 3.
12. Victoria Justice
After small a role in the Gilmore Grils, Victoria Justice got her name in lights as the star of the Nickelodeon drama Zoey 101. This led to major roles in the teen sitcom Victorious and a host of small roles in movies aimed at teens. While she hasn’t had the same success as an adult as she did as a child, Justice is slowly getting noticed and has some interesting projects on the horizon.
13. Halle Berry
When you are talking about brunette actresses who are both talented and beautiful, look no further than Halle Berry. Despite being in her mid-50s, Berry still looks like a 30-year-old. Not only that, but she can still kick ass, as demonstrated in action hit John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and UFC-inspired flick Bruised.
Berry has seen it all and done it all. Her filmography is chock full of monster hits (Swordfish, X-Men franchise), award winners (Monster’s Ball), action thrillers (Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Kidnap), and everything in between. She’s even starred as Catwoman, although it’s probably best to leave that one on the shelf.
When it comes to actresses with dark hair and incredible talent, Berry leads all comers.
14. Jennifer Lopez
Jenny from the Block is one of those few entertainers who has dominated both as a singer and an actress. She’s also the first Hispanic actress to earn over $1 million for a film thanks to her standout performance in Selene. Over her 35-year career, Lopez has released eight charting albums and starred in hit movies such as Out of Sight, Monster-in-Law, and Hustlers.
J-Lo has also finally found love with former beau Ben Affleck. After dating for several years in the early 00s, the media attention became too much and they went their separate ways. But love often finds a way and the two reunited in 2021 and got married in 2022. It seems love really doesn’t cost a thing.
15. Kristen Stewart
As a 12-year-old Kristen Stewart won a Young Artist Award for her role in Panic Room. She went on to appear in several more children’s movies before the Twilight saga turned her into a bonafide star of the screen. Since then Stewart has been quite picky with her roles, choosing to star in movies that are nothing like Twilight.
American Ultra, Personal Shopper, Underwater, and Crimes of the Future are some of her best roles of the past decade. She also received much praise for her portrayal of Diana Princesses of Wales in Spencer.
16. Monica Bellucci
Italian actress Monica Bellucci is an absolute stunner. Starting her career as a model, Bellucci soon got into the acting business and became a star in her native country. Roles in La Riffa, L’Appartement, and the controversial Irréversible got her noticed by American directors and she began starring in English language films, having a major role in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions.
While she has slowed down in recent years, Bellucci is always compelling when on-screen, be it as a Bond girl in Spectre or starring opposite Liam Neeson in a paint-by-numbers action flick.
