When Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) decided to join the Night’s Watch to guard The Wall, he took an oath never to sleep with a woman again. Old mate Snow didn’t count on falling for the wildling Yrgritte (Rose Leslie). The tension and banter begin the second they meet, with Yrgritte famously remarking, “You know nothing, Jon Snow.”

In the season three episode “Kissed by Fire,” Ygritte steals Jon’s sword, forcing him to chase her into a cave. The ice-cold cave quickly turns into the hottest place Beyond the Wall as Jon breaks his vow and gives in to his feelings for Yrgritte. After that encounter, it’s safe to say Jon Snow knows a thing or two. 

2. Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo (Season 1, Episode 2)

“The Mother of Dragons” Daenerys Targaryen’s quest to reclaim the Iron Throne and the Seven Kingdoms is a significant story arc throughout the series. Daenerys initially (Emilia Clarke) feels powerless and helpless as her brother forces her to marry the ruthless Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa).

The couple’s first sexual encounter on their wedding night is controversial due to the sexual violence, with Drogo pretty much raping his wife. Their second encounter in the season one episode “The Kingsroad” is much better, as it is not only consensual but easily one of the hottest scenes in the series.
