16 Funny Disney Characters Everybody Loves
Since Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs debuted in theatres in 1937, Disney animated movies have been a part of every child’s life. Each movie has its own unique story, but they usually feature an adventure, an underdog hero, a fearless princess, a horrible villain, and an unforgettable soundtrack. At the same time, Disney has released several live-action classics, including Marry Poppins, Jungle Cruise, and Mulan.
One thing all these types of Disney movies have in common is that they are full of the funniest characters. Sometimes it might be the main character getting all the laughs, but it’s mostly the best friend, sidekick, or even villain that’s hilarious. Here’s a look at the 16 funniest Disney characters everybody loves.
1. Dory (Finding Nemo and Finding Dory)
The iconic animated movie Finding Nemo pulls on the heartstrings of viewers. It’s almost impossible not to cry during gut-wrenching and touching moments. Well, the forgetful and hilarious Dory is here to save the day. Not only does she help look for Nemo, but she also makes everyone laugh.
Even with Dory’s heartbreaking backstory, she finds a way to be the funniest in the sea. Later, Dory returns in the popular sequel Finding Dory.
2. Genie (Aladdin)
In Aladdin, The Genie set the bar for comedy and humor in Disney films. Voiced by Robin Williams, The Genie is a master at comedy, impressions, and visual gags. Every time his character appears on the screen, he has viewers laughing hysterically.

At times, the classic animated movie The Lion King is heartbreaking and devastating. Luckily, the iconic duo of Timon and Pumba add a lot of humor, jokes, and slapstick comedy. They complement each other’s sense of humor perfectly.

4. Princess Anna (Frozen)
The classic animated film Frozen is one of the most popular Disney movies of the last few years. While the movie is full of hilarious and brilliant characters, Princess Anna’s in a league of her own.
