We live in the age of social media where everything you do in life has to be documented. Social media has taken over and people love nothing more than posting pictures of themselves or what they are getting up to, be it funny selfies or an image of them with a celebrity.

This has led to selfie culture, with the word selfie described by Merriam-Webb Dictionary as; “an image that includes oneself (often with another person or as part of a group) and is taken by oneself using a digital camera especially for posting on social networks.”

Everybody takes selfies these days, and while you can take many different types of selfies, the best are funny ones. Nothing beats a funny selfie, whether you’re making a silly face or taking a picture with something hilarious in the background. The best kind is unintentional selfies. These selfies have people photobombing, strange backgrounds, or weird objects that make the photo something entirely different than what was planned.

This selfie would freak anyone out. These two girls decided to lie down on a bed and take a snapshot, unaware there was a spider just inches from their heads. No thanks.
