Websites like Google Earth, Google Maps, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram are among some of the most visited in the world. And while most websites have a positive purpose or use, there are just as many weird websites that will have you scratching your head and wondering what the hell the creators were thinking.
These websites range from strange online games to odd photoshopped images and a lot of material that really has to be seen to be believed. You have to hunt for these funny and weird websites as they won’t appear at the top of any Google search. One of the older weird websites that have been around since 2004, ZoomQuilt consists of several artworks that continually zoom in, creating new artworks. Wish you were back in the 90s? This website made in 2014/2015 by Jankenpopp and Zombectro is an interface created to look like Windows 95. Not only does it look like the old school operating system, but you can also interact with the screen, with many of the files taking you to other strange websites or bringing up images and videos on the screen. You can even play a version of the iconic Wolfenstein 3D.

This game is like an online version of Pictionary. You are given a word to draw and the website’s artificial intelligence (A.I.) asks you questions about what you are drawing as it tries to guess the final image. It might not seem overly weird, but competing against an A.I. that gets gradually smarter the more you play is a little unnerving.
This is Tinder for beard lovers. Bristlr works like any other dating app, except its purpose is to connect those sporting beards with those who love beards. It lets you search by location and connect with people who love beards.
12. Ducks Are the Best
Lovers of ducks will be all over this strange website. It brings you to a blank screen that continues to change color. As you move your cursor ducks appear on the screen accompanied by the highly annoying sound of a duck quacking. If you stick around long enough you can fill your entire screen with ducks.
People love cats and gifs, so Procatinator decided to combine the two. With just a click of a button, you are presented with a cat gif and an accompanying song from YouTube. Expect all sorts of different cats, from kittens to seniors, along with a wide range of tunes including jazz, pop, and techno.
14. Eel Slap
What a weird website. As soon as the page loads you are confronted with an image of a man. Move your cursor and he is repeatedly hit in the face by an eel. That’s pretty much all there is to this website.
